BOOK A LESSON

Booking your session is quick and easy through our online system.

SIMPLY FOLLOW THESE STEPS

 1

SELECT YOUR SESSION LENGTH

Choose between a 1-hour or 2-hour lesson. 1 hour is fine for the basics and a quick run through, but 2 hours will give a much better understanding. Be warned, time spent fishing goes incredibly fast!

 2

PICK YOUR LESSON TYPE

Opt for either a Beginner Fishing session (basic river fishing), or a Targeting Perch with Lures lesson (If you don't know what to pick, you probably want a beginners lesson, or just ask and we will be more than happy to advise).

 3

PROVIDE YOUR LOCATION

If you're in a holiday home, enter the address.

If you're on a hire boat, share your mooring location, boat name, and registration number to help us locate you.

You can also provide a What3words location for extra accuracy when meeting at your mooring spot.

 4

CONFIRM EQUIPMENT PREFERENCES

Let us know if you'd like us to provide all necessary fishing gear and bait, or even a chair!. You're more than welcome to bring your own kit and we can run through it to make sure you have it all set up correctly.

Once booked, we’ll confirm all the details and ensure everything is set for your tailored fishing experience on the Norfolk Broads.

If you're not sure about booking just yet or have any questions at all, please feel free to contact us and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

LESSON STRUCTURE & PARTICIPANTS

To ensure personalized and effective instruction, our fishing lessons are designed for one-to-one, or one to two (at a max) coaching. This allows us to fully tailor the experience to the individual's learning pace and needs, maximizing their progress and enjoyment while not encroaching on any safety aspects.

If you have multiple participants, such as more than two children, they will require separate, individual bookings. We're happy to try and arrange back-to-back lessons, split the lesson between two pupils (max), or teach simultaneously in separate sessions if an additional instructor is available, depending on your needs and our availability. Please contact us directly to discuss options for multiple bookings.

IMPORTANT: NORFOLK BROADS CLOSE SEASON RULES

Please note: Because the Norfolk Broads is an interconnected river system, statutory Environment Agency laws apply strictly to all waterways. Please review these essential guidelines before planning your sessions:

The Closed Season runs from 15 March to 15 June inclusive. Coarse fishing is completely prohibited on all broads and rivers between these dates to allow local fish stocks to spawn safely.

The Open Season officially runs from 16 June to 14 March inclusive, meaning you can legally fish the waterways during this period.

Rod licensing laws are based strictly on age group.

Children under 13 years old do not require a rod licence and can fish completely free.

Anglers aged 13 to 16 years old must hold a mandatory junior licence, which is one hundred percent free to register.

Anyone aged 17 years old and over is legally required to hold a standard paid Environment Agency rod licence.

Need a licence? Get yours instantly online via the official GOV.UK Fishing Licences portal or call the Environment Agency at 0344 800 5386.
